LETTER OF COMMENDATION FOR mPAYMENT
NLB's e-Libraryhub Mobile Library and Payment Service
I am very pleased indeed to commend mPayment for a very well
executed project to deliver the above e-Libraryhub Mobile Library
and Payment Service for NLB on-time and trouble-free.
NLB commissioned mPayment in August 2001 to proceed with
project implementation. We gave them a deadline of 2 months to implement
the project and they managed to deliver on time without hassle,
a thoroughly tested solution meeting all our requirements. Our system
was launched to the public on 18th October this year.
mPayment's project team displayed a high degree of professionalism
and commitment. They were very accommodating and responsive, acceding
to our requests for changes in user requirements quickly and delivering
good practical solutions. They worked through weekends and weeknights
with the NLB team to thoroughly test the system. Dayal Krishnan,
who was the mPayment project manager, was very intimately
involved throughout and is a hands-on person, always ready to ensure
full compliance with our requirements and that the most optimal
solution is in place. NLB's project manager commended mPayment's
team for their devotion in an earlier email.
I am indeed happy that the dedication and enthusiasm displayed by
the mPayment team have resulted in an innovative solution
meeting NLB's needs, which was up and running in a very short time
and free of hitches.
NLB and mPayment teams forged a strong working relationship
from a start, and NLB team has benefited and acquired good working
knowledge on the SMS applications developed by mPayment,
as I am sure mPayment team has likewise benefited from the
experience of implementing a major customer solution for more than
2 million library users.
NLB's Mobile Library and Payment Service will enhance consumer mobility,
convenience and lifestyle as part of NLB's initiative to make public
library services convenient to all our library members.
